Abstract:

It always remains difficult to treat post⁃burn scars and improve their color, thickness and flexi⁃ bility of post⁃burn scars. Meanwhile,it is difficult as well to determine an appropriate parameter for lasers used to treat the post⁃burn scars and the overall therapeutic effect of laser treatment remains uncertain yet. This paper aims to systematically review the literature on the clinical application of ablative fraction carbon dioxide laser in burn and scald scar, the improvement of scars after treatment, treatment time, laser related parameter setting, com⁃ bined treatment and adverse reactions, for the purpose of providing the basis for clinicians to better treat burn and scald wound, reducing scar and improving conditions of scars.
