Open Access, Copyright Transfer and Licensing Statement of The Journal of Practical Medicine
◆ Open Access (OA) Statement
- Since 2020, The Journal of Practical Medicine has fully adopted an open-access publishing model. All manuscripts published from Issue 20, 2020 onwards are simultaneously released on the journal’s official website (https://www.syyxzz.com), where full texts are available for free reading and downloading by all readers. Article sharing is governed by the Creative Commons Attribution-NonCommercial-NoDerivatives 4.0 International License (CC BY-NC-ND 4.0). Third parties are permitted to copy, distribute, view online, display offline, deliver public presentations, and disseminate articles published in the journal, provided that they fully credit the original authors, include a hyperlink to the license, and clearly indicate whether any modifications have been made to the original text.
- Attribution by third parties is solely for objective source citation. It is strictly prohibited to use such attribution to imply that the journal editorial department endorses or vouches for the third party or its relevant usage activities.

◆ Copyright Transfer and Licensed Use Statement
Once a manuscript is accepted by the journal, the first author or corresponding author shall sign a copyright transfer agreement with the editorial department to assign the full copyright of the work to the editorial department of The Journal of Practical Medicine. All published articles are licensed to the public under the CC BY-NC-ND 4.0 open sharing license after formal publication.Both the authors themselves and other researchers may archive and forward the journal’s articles in accordance with this Creative Commons license (e.g., depositing them in institutional repositories of universities or research institutions), solely for non-commercial academic exchanges.The copyright license covers all forms of dissemination including reproduction, distribution, public display, academic presentations, and online distribution of the original articles. Full attribution to the original authors must be retained in all uses. All dissemination activities shall be limited to non-commercial purposes, and secondary creation such as adaptation and restructuring of the original text is forbidden.◆ Archiving Policy
All manuscripts published from Issue 20, 2020 onwards have been digitally archived permanently. Free full-text reading and downloading are available on the journal’s official website, with user usage rights regulated uniformly under the CC BY-NC-ND license terms.Back issues published between 1972 and 2020 are not yet open for free full-text access, and complete texts are not uploaded to the official website. Readers may register and log in to mainstream databases including CNKI and CQVIP to access and download these articles.All digital literature of the journal is locally backed up and preserved by the editorial department to ensure long-term data security. Supplementary figures, original tables and other supporting materials submitted by authors during manuscript submission are archived by the editorial department accordingly.◆ Publication Fees
- To sustain open-access publishing operations, the journal charges an Article Processing Charge (APC), which shall be borne by the author, the author’s affiliated institution or relevant research funding projects. The maximum APC for a single manuscript is RMB 10,000.
- The journal does not charge any expedited peer review or fast-track publication service fees. After manuscript acceptance, the editorial department will only contact authors via the official email syyxzz@syyxzz.com and official telephone numbers. Please stay alert to unauthorized payment notices sent through non-official channels to guard against telecom and email fraud.
