As a result, reducing the risk of onset has become an important research focus. According to some studies, there is a link between dietary diversity and the prevalence of metabolic syndrome. This paper sum⁃ marizes the relationship between dietary diversity and the prevalence of metabolic syndrome, with the goal of deter⁃ mining whether dietary diversity can reduce the onset risk of metabolic syndrome and serve as a reference for the prevention of cardiovascular diseases and type 2 diabetes mellitus.
