Abstract: Objective To investigate the correlations between the breast cancer clinical prognostic stageⅠ⁃Ⅲ from the AJCC(Eighth Edition)and ultrasonographic characteristics by BI⁃RADS classification. Methods A total of 386 breast cancer masses in 343 patients classified as stages Ⅰ⁃Ⅲ according to the AJCC(Eighth Edition)were selected and divided into three groups. χ2 test was used to analyze the relationships between breast cancer ultrasonic characteristics and AJCC stages Ⅰ⁃Ⅲ. Results The ultrasonographic characteristics such as oval shapes or irregular shapes of the masses, long axes non⁃paralleled to the skin, uncircumscribed margin, indistinct margin, speculated margin, and shadowing posterior features were significantly different across the prognosis stages Ⅰ⁃Ⅲ according to the AJCC(Eighth Edition). Conclusion There are significant differences in tumor mor⁃phology orientation, marginal morphology and posterior features in patients across different stages of breast cancer prognosis.
