Abstract:

The intestinal microbiome has a long⁃term symbiosis with the body, not only participating in the formation of the intestinal barrier, but also maintaining the body′ s metabolism by producing vitamins and other products necessary for host physiology. Autophagy is a cellular catabolic process used to maintain homeostasis, and it functions at a fundamental level in all tissues. In this review,we will elaborate the changes of autophagy when regulating intestinal microbiome and the changes of intestinal microbiome when autophagy changes,so as to pro⁃ vide more research directions for the treatment of diseases.
