Abstract:

Coronavirus disease 2019(COVID⁃19)caused a global pandemic and seriously endangeredhuman health. With the deepening of research, the abnormal coagulation function and venous thromboembolism(VTE)complications in COVID⁃19 patients have attracted the attention of many researchers. We review,in thisarticle, the clinical value of elevated D⁃dimer in COVID⁃19 patients and related research on VTE and summarizethe possible mechanism of thrombosis induced by SARS⁃CoV⁃2,hoping to provide reference for the prevention ofthrombosis in COVID⁃19 patients.

Key words: COVID?19, SARS?CoV?2, D?dimer, venous thromboembolism, cytokine storm
