Effect of flurbiprofen axetil combined with low molecular weight heparin on VAS score and oxidative stress response in elderly patients with hip replacement

Abstract:

Objective To explore the effect of flurbiprofen axetil combined with low molecular weight heparin sodium on VAS score and oxidative stress response in elderly patients with hip replacement. Methods A total of 204 elderly patients with osteonecrosis of the femoral head in our hospital from June 2018 to June 2019 were selected and all the patients were divided into two groups by digital random table method. The study group (102 patients)was treated with flurbiprofen axetil combined with low molecular weight heparin sodium,and the control group(102 patients)received sufentanil mixed with 100 ml normal saline. The visual analogue score,VAS score index,and levels of oxidative stress reaction index NE,GSH PX and ang Ⅱ during the treatment were observed in the two groups. The incidence of postoperative complications and treatment satisfaction were compared. Results The VAS score was significantly lower in the study group than in the control group at 12/24 h(P < 0.05); level of increases in NE and ang Ⅱ in the study group was significantly lower than that in the control group,and a decline in GSH PX value was significantly lower than that in the control group(P < 0.05). There was no significant difference in the incidence of postoperative complications between the two groups(P > 0.05). Conclusions Flur⁃ biprofen axetil combined with low molecular weight heparin sodium for elderly patients with hip replacement plays an analgestic role more effectively. This therapy significantly reduces the VAS scores,maintains the normal level of oxidative stress reaction,lowers the incidence of postoperative complications,and improves treatment satisfaction, which is worthy of clinical application.
