Abstract:

Objective To conduct a panoramic survey and analysis of the current scientific research situa⁃ tion of major Anesthesiology Hospitals in Guangdong Province，so as to provide reference for the scientific research and construction of the anesthesia team in the province. Methods A self⁃designed questionnaire was used to ana⁃ lyze the anesthesiology related scientific research in 35 major hospitals of anesthesiology in Guangdong Province by online survey. The survey was conducted from October to December 2020. Results A total of 1 788 valid question⁃ naires were obtained，with a gender ratio of about 8∶3 and an average age of 37 years（18 ~ 60 years）. According to the analysis of human resources，321 doctoral students（17.95%），853 graduate students（47.71%），503 un⁃ dergraduate students（28.13%）and 111 junior college students（6.21%）were included. The analysis of scientific research funds showed that 829 total projects including 179 national funds，371 provincial funds，279 municipal funds were obtained from 2011 to 2020，and 493 projects including 114 national funds，205 provincial funds，161 municipal funds were obtained from 2016 to 2020. According to the analysis of papers published，1 116 sci⁃indexed papers and 1 441 national journals were published in 2011-2020，795 sci⁃indexed papers and 914 national jour⁃ nals were published in 2016-2020. The analysis of awards showed that 8 national awards，53 provincial funds and 38 municipal funds were won in 2011-2020，5 national awards，46 provincial funds and 24 municipal funds were won in 2016-2020. The analysis of patents and publications showed that 334 patents and 108 publications were obtained in 2011-2020，232 patents and 82 publications were obtained in 2016-2020. Conclusion The talent team of anesthesiology in Guangdong Province is growing rapidly，and the development trend of scientific research is fast. All units in Guangdong Province should attach importance to and issue better scientific research related poli⁃cies，and strive to promote anesthesiology of Guangdong to form a more mature frontier research direction，signifi⁃ cantly improve the comprehensive strength and innovation ability of the discipline，and better adapt to the needs of anesthesiology technical talents in the new era.
