Abstract:

Pathological scar includes hypertrophic scar and keloid, which is the result of poor healing of deep tissue injury. In recent years,it has been found that Botulinum toxin Type A plays an important role in the process of pathological scar formation, such as the tension around the scar, the proliferation of fibroblasts, the release of inflammatory factors, the formation of blood vessels and scar pain. In addition,it has been found that Botulinum toxin Type A has A good therapeutic effect on pathological scars. Compared with the use of botulinum toxin Type A alone, combined use with other methods is more effective in preventing and treating pathological scars.
