Theirhealing and recovery were fast with no obvious discomfort. The function of the frenulum of the patients returnedto normal measuring by a simplified tool(hazelbaker assessment tool for lingual frenulum function)HATLFF.Conclusions The use of Nd:YAG laser combined with Er:YAG laser for the treatment ankyloglossia coulddecrease the difficulties, complications and postoperative reactions. It is suggested that the operative age of thechildren should be 14 moths. The indication and scope of the operation could also be flexible.
