Abstract:

Objective To observe the clinical effect modified Canshi decoction on postoperative rehabilita⁃ tion in patients with ankylosing spondylitis kyphosis. Methods A total of 80 cases were randomly assigned to control group and observation group. Methotrexate and modified Canshi decoction were administered for 4 weeks to the two groups, respectively. The BASMI,BASDAI,BASFI,TCM symptoms were observed. The serum inflammatory factors(TNF⁃α,MIF,IL⁃1β,IL⁃6),serum and articular fluid ossification⁃associated proteins(DKK⁃1,AMPK⁃α SOST,FOXO3a)were detected. The clinical efficacy and safety were observed. Results The total effective rate was 97.5% in the observation group vs 80.0% in the control group(P < 0.05). Compared with the control group after treatment, the BASMI,BASDAI,BASFI,TCM syndromes,TNF⁃α,MIF,IL⁃1β,IL⁃6 were decreased in the observation group(P < 0.05),and the serum and articular fluid DKK⁃1,AMPK⁃α,SOST,FoxO3⁃α were increased in the observation group(P < 0.05). The incidence of adverse reactions was 2.5% in observation group vs. 30.0% in control group(P < 0.05). Conclusion Modified Canshi decoction could effectively promote postoper⁃ ative rehabilitation of patients with ankylosing spondylitis kyphosis.
