Abstract:

Objective To analyze the screening and influencing factors forfemale breast cancer in rural area of Nanning. Methods Breast inspection, palpation, and color Doppler ultrasound examinations were per⁃ formed. Those who were suspicious were examined by mammography. Subjects with BI ⁃RADS grade 4~5 were further diagnosed by histopathological examination. Basic characteristics of cases and controls were collected and analyzed. Results A total of 155,224 rural women were screened for breast cancer from 2017 to 2020,and the proportion of breast ultrasonography and mammography increased year by year(all P < 0.001). A total of 211 cases were confirmed with breast cancer, with a detection rate of 135.93/105 and a decreasing trend(P < 0.001). Invasive ductal carcinoma was the main histopathological type, accounting for 70.14 %. Stage IIA was the most common type of TNM staging, accounting for 36.42%. Significant differences in the proportion of ethnicity, age, educational level and previous inspection between cases and controls were found(all P < 0.05). Zhuangnationality, ages 40 ~ 44,45 ~ 49,50 ~ 54,55 ~ 59,60 ~ 64,and lowereducation level were the risk factors for breast cancer, respec⁃ tively(all P < 0.05),and the highest risk of breast cancer was found in the 55~59 age group. Receiving breast can⁃ cer examinations previously was a protective factor for breast cancer. Conclusion Breast cancer screening in rural women could detect and prevent breast cancer in time. Health education for elderly or Zhuang women should be strengthened to increase their enthusiasm for screening.
