Abstract:

With the increasing development of surgical techniques, the treatment of tissue defects caused by oral and maxillofacial tumor resection has gradually become a hot topic and difficult point in clinical treatment, and the treatment concept of oral cancer has also changed from“cut well”to“cut well, reconstruct well”. Perfect maxillofacial defect repair and reconstruction can promote early recovery of patients after surgery, and improve the survival rate and quality of life of patients. This article summarizes and reviews the development and some of the current problems in postoperative defect repair and reconstruction technology for oral cancer
