Cardiac lymphoma is a rare form of extranodal lymphoma with an extremely poor prognosis. Sec⁃ ondary cardiac lymphoma(SCL)is more common than primary cardiac lymphoma and is usually found in patients with disseminated lymphoma or advanced lymphoma. Patients with SCL often experience non ⁃ specific symptoms, which lead to a delay in diagnosis and treatment,and in some cases,SCL cannot be detected until a postmortem. There are no systematic guidelines for the diagnosis and treatment of SCL. The value of early diagnosis and therapy in enhancing survival rates cannot be underestimated. This article outlines the most recent developments in the diag⁃ nosis and treatment of SCL.
