Percutaneous coronary intervention in the treatment of patients with complex,high ⁃risk coronary artery disease

Revascularization can improve the prognosis of patients with complex,high⁃risk coronary artery disease. However,the majority of the patients cannot tolerate coronary artery bypass surgery and prefer to choose percutaneous coronary intervention. The potential high risk has become a major challenge for coronary intervention⁃ al physicians. In recent years,the new drugs,devices and technologies provide more guarantee for the interven⁃ tion therapy,but it still remains controversial. This paper reviews the status and progress of coronary interventional therapy for the population with complex,high⁃risk coronary artery disease.
