Abstract

Objective To investigate the current status and affecting factors of blood pressure monitoring at home in maintenance hemodialysis patients with hypertension. Methods From June 2019 to August 2019,a cross ⁃sectional survey on blood pressure monitoring at home was conducted in 681 maintenance hemodialysis patients with hypertension. The affecting factors of regular home blood pressure monitoring at home were analyzed. Results The rate of self⁃measurement at home was 61.1% The standard implementation rates of monitoring frequency, time to measurement, number of repeated measurement, and records of measurement results were 76.5%,46.0%,31.4% and 15.3% ,respectively. Multivariate logistic regression analysis showed that use of antihypertensive drugs was the affecting factor of regular measurement of blood pressure. Conclusions The self ⁃measurement rate of blood pressure was generally higher in maintenance hemodialysis patients with hypertension. However, the measurement was still lack of standardization in most of the patients. The patients who do not take antihypertensive drugs smoke, and have prolong dialysis are at high risk for not monitoring home blood pressure normatively.
