Abstract

Objective By combining zhuangyi acupoint therapy with press⁃needle,to facilitate spontane⁃ ous delivery of pregnant women at term and reduce adverse outcomes. Methods A random number table was used to divide 120 eligible full⁃term pregnant women into two groups,A and B,with 60 cases in each group. For two days,Group A received Zhuang doctor acupoint therapy combined with pressing acupuncture ,while Group B received low⁃dose oxytocin. Results After 2 days of intervention, the cervical score of group A(5.7 ± 1.5)was significantly higher than the score of group B(3.3 ± 1.0);the quantitative symptom score of group A(4.6 ± 1.2 was significantly higher than the score of group B(2.3 ± 0.9);The interleukin⁃6(IL⁃6)value(4.2 ± 1.4)of group A was significantly higher than the IL ⁃ 6 value of group B(1.8±0.7),and the differences in the data of the three groups were statistically significant. The occurrence of adverse reactions was not statistically significant in groups A and B(P > 0.05). Conclusion The acupuncture therapy of Zhuang medicine combined with acupuncture to promote cervical ripening is simpler, safer and more effective than traditional oxytocin. This method may be effec⁃ tive by increasing IL⁃6 levels.
