Clinical observation of Yiqi Xiaozheng prescription combined with cycle therapy in the treatment of endo⁃ metriosis dysmenorrhea

Abstract

Objective To explore the clinical efficacy of Yiqi Xiaozheng prescription combined with cycle therapy in the treatment of endometriosis dysmenorrhea. Methods Fifty patients with endometriosis dysmenorrhea due to Qi deficiency and blood stasis were randomly divided into a treatment group（25 patients）and a control group（25 patients）. The treatment group was given Yiqi Xiaozheng prescription combined with cycle therapy， while the control group was given marvelon. Both groups were treated for 3 menstrual cycles. The VAS score of dysmenorrhea，TCM syndrome score，and serum CA125 level were compared before and after treatment，liver and kidney function were detected，and the safety of treatment was evaluated. Results After treatment，the dysmenor⁃ rhea VAS scores were significantly lower in the two groups（P<0.05），and there was no significant difference between the two groups（P > 0.05）. The TCM syndrome scores in the two groups were lower than the baseline scores（P < 0.05），and the decline level was more obvious in the treatment group than in the control group（P > 0.05）. There was no significant difference in serum CA125 level between the two groups as compared with the base⁃ line level（P > 0.05）. There were no serious adverse reactions and abnormal liver and kidney function in the two groups during the treatment. Conclusions Yiqi Xiaozheng prescription combined with cycle therapy can effectively relieve dysmenorrhea in patients with endometriosis，which has the same efficacy as the Western medicine marvel⁃ on. It can improve the syndrome of Qi deficiency and blood stasis and has higher safety，providing an optimized TCM treatment method for patients with endometriosis dysmenorrhea.
