1，25⁃（OH）₂D₃，the active form of Vit D，plays an important role in airway inflammation and remodeling.due to its anti⁃inflammatory and antifibrosis effects.1，25 ⁃（OH）₂D₃ plays an anti⁃inflammatory role in airway by reducing inflammatory factors，inducing the release of antimicrobial peptides and binding to Vit D recep⁃ tor.At the same time 1，25⁃（OH）₂D₃ can reduce airway epithelial fibrosis and affect the proliferation and secretion of airway cells such as airway smooth muscle cells，airway epithelial cells and airway fibroblasts. In addition，1，25 ⁃（OH）₂D₃ decreased the expression of TGF⁃β1 and IL⁃17A. This article reviews the research of 1，25⁃（OH）₂D₃ in airway inflammation and airway remodeling.
