Abstract

The results of a clinical trial using an 8?week combination regimen of new drugs to treat sensitive tuberculosis， published by The New England Journal of Medicine in March 2023， have raised new expectations for further shortening the course of treatment for sensitive tuberculosis. Whether the treatment of sensitive TB must follow the standard 6-month chemotherapy regimen？ This article reviews the historical evolution of the treatment plan for sensitive tuberculosis，and Propose thoughts and prospects for future treatment directions based on the current situation in China。
