Objective To observe the effect of Yishen Jianpi Huayu Decoction on serum IgGand IgM level of Meniere patients and its clinical effect. Methods Ninety Meniere patients were divided into observation group and control group，with 45 cases in each one. Patients in the control group were given Betahistine Mesylate tablets orally，and those in the observation group had Yishen Jianpi Huayu Decoction for 7 days as a course of treatment. After continuous treatment for 28 days（4 courses），vertigo，tinnitus and hearing loss in the two groups were compared and serum IgG and IgM were tested by enzyme⁃linkedimmunosorbent assay（ELISA）. Results Vertigo， tinnitus and hearing loss in the two groups were all improved and the effective rate in the observation group was higher than that in the control group（P < 0.05）. Serum IgGand IgM level in the observation group was lower than that in the control group（P < 0.5）. Conclusion Yishen Jianpi Huayu Decoction is effective in the treatment of Meniere and can reduce serum IgG and IgM level of patients.
