Research progress on staging diagnosis of vestibular migraine
Vestibular migraine(VM)is a common vestibular disease characterized by paroxysmal vertigo/ dizziness. Clinically,VM staging is subjective and lacks standardization. Accurate identification of attack period, intermittent period or chronic duration is the basis of VM clinical diagnosis and treatment and pathophysiological research. Comprehensive analysis of the pathogenesis and pathological nature of VM from the aspects of onset time and frequency, symptoms and signs, scale score, imaging examination and blood test is helpful for objective stag⁃ ing diagnosis of VM.
