Autophagy is a process in which under the control of various molecules，autophagic vesicles incells coat damaged organelles and senescent biomolecules and transport them to lysosomes for digestion，degrada⁃tion and recycling，also known as“type II programmed cell death”. In recent years，many studies have demonstrat⁃ed that autophagy is involved in the regulation of various cellular functions and is closely related to the developmentof various diseases.Wound healing is a complex biological behavior involving multiple pathophysiological processes.Numerous studies have shown that autophagy also permeates the whole process of wound healing，and plays differ⁃ent roles in inflammation，neovascularization，re⁃pithelialization and scarring.In this paper，the recent progress ofresearch on the role of autophagy in wound healing and its mechanism is reviewed.A
