Abstract: Vacuum sealing drainage is regarded as a revolutionary technology for the treatment of all kinds of wounds，especially for the acute and chronic complex wounds. This paper discussed and analyzed the principle，necessity，characteristics，advantages，latest progress，shortcomings and improvement measures of negative seal⁃ing drainage in maxillofacial region.
