Abstract

Urothelial bladder cancer (UBC) is one of the most common malignant tumors in urology, and its occurrence and progression are closely related to the tumor microenvironment (TME). Tumor-associated neutrophils (TAN), as an important type of immune cells in TME, have been proven to have anti-tumor or pro-tumor regulatory effects on various tumors, which are related to their heterogeneity and plasticity. The study on TAN′s bidirectional regulation may provide new targets for tumor treatment. This article reviews the current status of TAN′s bidirectional regulation research by searching recent literature, and summarizes its research progress in UBC.
