Glioma is the most common primary tumor of the central nervous system. Due to the lack of targeted drugs，tumor chemotherapy is ineffective. Doxorubicin is one of the widely used chemotherapeutic drugs in clinical practice. According to different surface modifications of doxorubicin liposomes，the application of doxorubi⁃ cin liposomes in the targeted therapy of brain glioma is introduced. Most of the doxorubicin liposomes are used in basic research，and some in clinical trials. Therefore，this paper mainly describes the surface modification of doxo⁃ rubicin liposome and its application in the treatment of glioma.
