Burnout was found to be significantly related to gender, age, marital status, education level, job position, working years, work pressure, and self⁃health status(P < 0.01). A linear relationship existed between gender, marital status, education level, job position, job pressure, physical health status, and job burnout. According to the results of a word frequency survey, medical staff have a high demand for humanistic care activities organized by hospitals. Conclusion Medical personnel experience varying degrees of job burnout. Health workers who are at high risk of burnout require extra care.
